Mercedes Benz Club Black Eau de Parfum
Mercedes-Benz Club Black Eau de Parfum (EDP): Resinous Vanilla with a Modern Amber Glow
The EDP (2025) revives the cult-favorite Club Black DNA (EDT, 2017) with a richer, resin-forward profile. It opens with Calabrian bergamot and elemi, moves through a plush heart of vanilla–jasmine–musk, and dries down to myrrh, amberwood, and Ambrox Super more textured and incense-tinged than the vanilla-benzoin focus of the original EDT.
Fragrance Notes
Top: Calabrian Bergamot, Elemi zesty citrus over a lightly balsamic, sparkling resin.
Heart: Vanilla, Jasmine, Musk creamy-sensual core with a soft floral sheen.
Base: Myrrh, Amberwood, Ambrox Super smoky-resinous warmth and radiant, modern woods.
EDP vs. EDT: The 2017 EDT lists bergamot; incense + jasmine; and a base of vanilla, benzoin, woods, Ambroxan sweeter/amber-vanilla and less overtly resinous than the 2025 EDP.
Who Is It For?
Fans of amber-vanilla with a resinous twist. It reads dress-casual to dressy and leans masculine-marketed but wears comfortably unisex if you like incensey vanillas.
When to Wear
Best in autumn/winter and evenings year-round the myrrh/amberwood base shines in cool air and night settings.
Why You’ll Love It
Richer, darker spin: Elemi + myrrh add depth to the beloved Club Black signature.
Creamy but polished: Vanilla is plush without becoming sticky, thanks to airy Ambrox/amberwood.
Line continuity: Keeps the recognizable Club silhouette while feeling more mature than the EDT.
